NJITG-POWER Signs Strategic Cooperation with Provincial Power Engineering Design Institutes on Microgrids and Active Grid Safety

Joining the core State Grid design ecosystem to build resilient green microgrids

NJITG-POWER has signed a strategic cooperation agreement on new-type microgrids and active safety with several provincial power engineering design and consulting institutes. The parties will cooperate on microgrid power-flow control under high renewable penetration, SRAU repowering of existing PV plants, and passive fire-extinguishing protection for high-voltage storage and booster stations.

Three core research directions

  • New-type microgrids and grid-forming control: for industrial parks, transport corridors and remote islands, jointly developing resilient microgrid packages with active grid-forming, black-start and power-quality management capabilities.
  • Joint standards for SRAU repowering: based on NJITG-POWER's proprietary SRAU modules, jointly drafting design specifications and grid-connection acceptance guidelines for upgrading ageing PV plants.
  • Intrinsic safety for high-voltage substations and storage: deploying NJITG-POWER's self-actuating fire-extinguishing devices and flame-retardant passive protection technology against thermal runaway and fire risk at centralized storage plants and key substation nodes, driving industry safety standards upward.

Supporting a green, low-carbon, high-quality power transition

The agreement marks the full alignment of NJITG-POWER's clean energy products and technical solutions with mainstream power grid design codes. The parties will launch the first batch of benchmark demonstration projects in several provinces.
