Cleaning decisions are shifting from empiricism to data-driven approaches. Online measurement of the sludge buildup ratio (SR), defined by the IEC 61724-1:2021 international standard, differentiates the impact of frost, snow, rain, dust storms, smog, and anthropogenic pollution sources, allowing maintenance personnel to determine "when is the most cost-effective time to clean." Three models cover different levels of accuracy and budget: the ZTD-6/6S identifies uniform sludge buildup, while the ZTD-9/12 further identifies icing, condensation, and snowfall, supporting non-uniform sludge detection, with up to three probes available. A single device can optimize cleaning frequency, saving money on fewer cleanings and maximizing electricity savings on more frequent cleanings.
Technical Parameters
- This series of light scattering principle devices includes models ZTD-6/6S/9/12. Functionally, the ZTD-6/6S detects the dust accumulation/contamination ratio, while the ZTD-9/12 adds icing/dew and snowfall detection. Probe configurations are, in order: single probe (ZTD-6/6S), dual probe (ZTD-9), and triple probe (ZTD-12). The ZTD-6 only detects uniform dust accumulation, while the ZTD-9/12 supports non-uniform dust accumulation. The measurement range is 100%~50%, with a contamination ratio measurement accuracy of 1% in the 90%~100% range (2% in 80%~90%, and 4% in 50%~80%). The devices are IP67 protected, adaptable to -40℃~+85℃ and 0~100%RH environments, with a stability of 1%/year and a response time of <1s. They support Modbus 485 RTU and optional 4G communication, and the housing is made of aluminum alloy (natural anodized). Dimensions: 252mm×137mm×35mm (customized for ZTD-12), power consumption: <2W, <4W, <5W respectively.
